1998 Jeep Wrangler Sport.4.0 liter 5-speed manual trans.This jeep needs some TLC, but can be really nice with a little work. It is inspected until November 2010. It has good tires. It runs and drives.The body and paint is in decent condition.The 4×4 works. Now for all the bad stuff….it needs a drivers side swaybar end link…the carpets need replaced…drivers side door won’t open from outside (something is messed up inside the door-opens fine from the inside) drivers side seat cushion is torn..has a exhaust leak in the manifold (typical for this year)…and sometimes when you drive it the engine will hesitate and sputter. If you quick bump the key off and on, it straightens right out and runs great.Sometimes this will happen twice in ten minutes,sometimes it won’t do it for a month. As for things I have done to it over the years…new water pump,new alternator,rear differential was rebuilt. with a little time and a few bucks,this jeep would be really nice. If I don’t get my asking price, I’ll just keep it.But, I want everyone to know exactly what they are dealing with if they are interested. $500 dollar deposit due within 24 hours…balance within 7 days. 1997 Jeep grand cherokee with the 4.0L inline 6 and auto tranny 4wd. i have owned this jeep for about 6 months now i buy a couple of year to fix up and resale. this jeep has a 3″ lift with new pro comp shock and ruk industries sway bar links, 32″ x 11.50 R15 BFG Mud terrain KM1 with only 2000 miles on them, HID conversion kit for ultra bright headlights, new kicker door speakers. jeep has 149000 miles with new brakes rodors and such replaced only 10K miles ago, i have recently had the oil changed along with new plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotory button, catalyatic converter, muffler, and a/c equipement. jeep has only 4 problems the front two doors do not work with the keyless entry you have to manually lock and unlock, the driver door has about a 5″ long place where the vinyl insert is coming off of the plastic, the coolant sensor alarm goes off but i have replaced it jeep forum says its common for a 97, and the jeep about every other time you crank it up and start going will kinda spit and sputter for a few seconds then run fine. i drive it everyday and its very reliable i have drove it several hours straight with no problems i wouldnt hesitate to drive it anywhere… probably more that i have missed but feel free to call with anymore questions or concerns Clay at 910-540-9519 only reason i am selling the jeep is to fund an old 80’s model chevrolet truck build that i am about to start

Up for grabs is this 1987 Jeep Wrangler YJ 4×4, a perfect project vehicle for you to experiment on. The in-line 6 cylinder engine is blown and will need a re-build or replacement motor. The A/C condenser will also need to be replaced in order to get the A/C system fully operational. Additional equipment and accessories include a Pavement Ends Flip Top with upper door skins and a flip down windshield frame allowing Jeep to be a fully safari convertible. Installed a Weber Carburetor Kit (#WK551) and Alpine radio/CD player with new Pioneer 6×9 rear speaker wedges as well as front 4-way Pioneer speakers; vehicle already includes a Roll-bar with speakers installed. The entire tub was sprayed with Herculiner and also included are two 3A Racing Black Vinyl seats with sliders (one of which is already installed). The rear flip forward seat is still the original and all seat belts are intact. Replaced rear lights and added rear light Stone guards. Front Grill Guard with Brush Guards was also added and mounted 4 new off-road flood lights. Light brackets and wiring already mounted on windshield frame for future lights. Driver side mirror, aluminum alloy rims and spare tire (with mounting bracket on rear door) included. The year this vehicle was fabricated was the year that Jeep started producing the Wrangler with the better transfer case installed. So this Jeep does have a well equipped 4×4 system, allowing you to change between 2-wheel/4-wheel low to high torque. Both the floor board and the frame are in excellent condition; the entire floorboard was stripped and sprayed with Herculiner. Vehicle is not in running condition and is sold as-is. There is some rust and oxidation damage to hinges (passenger door hinge needs to be replaced) and exterior grommets due to immobilization as well as natural wear and tear over time. Vehicle has not been involved in any accidents and/or fender benders. ‘95 Wrangler all black, lifted 4” with rims and tires. Has aftermarket stereo so you can actually hear the music when top is off with wind and sound from nobby tires. has center console, engine trans and 4×4 all work good needs nothing mechanically. only has hard top and doors, no soft top. vehicle failed inspection due to crack in windshield, and they said the tires cant stick out past fenders(supposedly u can tape cardboard to fenders to cover tires). the exhaust leaks at the clamp from cat to muffler, needs new shocks theyre all rusted as well as some rust on the under carriage. driver side window stuck 1inch from closed cause the crank stripped, and passenger side interior door panel is gone. Need to get rid of ASAP cause moved and dont have room for toys anymore, not looking to get rich just need it gone, and will accept trades in the waverunner, sportbike, boat category, but open to whatever you have to offer. selling locally so have the right to end auction early and please dont bid if you dont intend on following thru with payment, cant stand those people. I have up for sale my 1991 Jeep Wrangler SAHARA Edition, up until 3/2/10 it was my daily driver and got me to and from work 40 miles each way and just passed inspection 2 weeks ago!!! It has a 4.0 liter high output engine with a 5 speed transmission. The suspension has a 4″ rough country suspension lift, 3″ body lift and 2″ shackle lift……. total of 9″!!! With 35×12.50×15 all terrain tires with 35% life left on them. It has an aftermarket front and rear bumper, aftermarket LED taillights and reverse lights, diamond plate door panels, cd player, and chrome gauge surrounds. On 3/2/10 I was driving home the motor started making a tapping sound and running very poor. The Jeep since has lost alot of power and the noise is louder. So the Jeep needs a motor, or if you are a mechanic you might be able to fix it. Sounds like a valve is sticking, but I am not sure. The transmission does work and shift through all the gears as it should be the synchronizers in 3rd n 4th are worn. So it will make a slight grinding going in and out. I drove the Jeep like this for the last year with no issues, and no popping out of gear. The body is in very decent shape for being 19 years old, as you can see in the pictures, the drivers side in front of the door has a small hole. But other than that it is pretty solid. The exhaust is all there including the converter and doesnt leak. A rear differential swap has been done and it has a ford 8.8″ with 373 gears and a locker (new brakes, rotors and shocks). This is alot stronger than the original weak dana 30 rears and also upgrades the Jeep to 4 wheel disc brakes for better braking. The front rear is still stock with a dana 35 with 308 gears. Transfer case is in good condition and works fine with no issues. The interior is in poor shape, with a torn drivers seat, torn carpet. The gauges all work as they should but the previous owner removed the plastic covers off them for some reason. The top should be replaced, has a hole in the back window and the passenger side rear window zipper is broke. tied shut with a shoelace. The Jeep is an offroad vehicle and is 19 years old. I strongly recommend everyone who is interested in it, to come and look at it. Item is located in Hazleton, Pa 18201. Up for auction is a 1993 Jeep Wrangler Clear Title, Title in hand Red exterior tan interior 5-speed 4X4 4 cyl engine The title reads a little over 120,000 miles, its now around 130,000 miles UPGRADES INCLUDE: Brand new all weather tires and brand new rims tires has 95% tread left on them- FIVE TIRES/ FIVE RIMS COST: $950 The body has have 98% of its rusts spots fixed there was rust near the tires and inside the drivers floor board was rotted out all the rust was professionally cut out and new metal was welded in the only part of the body that still has rust is a small area behind the spare tire COST: $750 After all the new metal was welded on, the car got a paint job The only parts that didnt get a fresh coat is the hood, the grill and the back gate.
